Booking and tour planning

Since 2007, Black Beaver Records proved that we can take care of your booking and tour planning needs. We booked around 200 shows in two years for each of our artists. We manage booking all around the globe, but we specialise in Canada and United-States. In example, you can find a list of shows we booked for Two Green Cats in 2012. We can get you the best pay and/or the best door deal. We can also manage the staff that fits your needs.

Booking

Booking is all about finding the right venue for your band, for audience and for your budget. We need to book your show in a place where people who don’t know you will and where people who already know you will enjoy the show. We won’t book a show in a small bar if we expect 10 000 entries and neither we’ll book a 500 seats venue if we expect 50 entries. We also need to know what type of audience we’re expecting. Do we need to find a venue downtown or outside in a park. An important mistake beginners do is forgetting to choose their window. You probably won’t get the date you want. You need to give options to the person responsible. Know who you’re doing business with and contact them to get as much information as you can. How much is the hire fee/rental fee? When can you load-in and sound check? When can you open door? When does the show need to end? What do they provide technically? Are there any special rules? Black Beaver Records can manage all this for you and can provide contracts to make sure you received your money after a show we managed booking and tour planning.

Booking and tour planning

One of the most exiting part of being in a band is touring, but it can also be the worst. All depends on how everything goes. You need to plan your tour, but let space for unexpected. While you’re on the road, keep your head on the road. There’s so much to think about before, during and after a tour. Booking, travelling, eating, sleeping, contacts, contracts, promotion, distribution, etc. We know all about it and we can manage your booking and tour planning.
